The Mom Entrepreneur Online Support Group Guidelines

The Mom Entrepreneur Support Group was created to advise and support mom entrepreneurs through online discussions. It is not to be used as a platform for promoting yourself, your products/services, or an event you will be at unless asked by the moderator. However, if you are considering a new logo, product packaging, product or service, website, or if you have parenting concerns, etc. you may ask the members support in evaluating images, samples, flyers, ideas and much more.

Following is an outline of what IS ALLOWED in this group:

An introductory email synopsis of who you are and what you do. We want to get to know you as a mom and an entrepreneur.
An email signature that provides contact information, links to your website and/or blog and a tagline or brief mission statement.
A shout out (offering kudos) about a member of the group or another mom entrepreneur's business.
Questions to the members of the group looking for answers and advice about something related to motherhood, running a business or something similar.
Offering tips and advice about something you learned, just realized or tips and techniques about what has worked for you as a mom entrepreneur.
An ad for service. For example if you need PR services, a nanny, a graphic designer, an interior designer, etc. you may advertise your needs.

Asking members to vote for you if you are competing in a contest.
Sharing affiliate links with full disclosure. For example, a member asks what is a good book to read for learning about business planning? You may respond with a suggestion and your affiliate link to Amazon as long as "(affiliate link)" is included after the link.

This group was designed to allow members to help one another succeed with balancing motherhood and running a business. The format has an open moderation, which allows members to speak freely with one another. New members' comments are moderated for a 60 day trial period as they learn about the format of group discussions.

Collecting member email addresses from the database and sending SPAM to the group on or offline is prohibited and may lead to immediate termination of membership with no refund.
