Testimonials

“The Mom Entrepreneur Support Group is truly the first one I’ve been involved with that continuously reaches out to connect with me. All other groups I’ve participated with in the past, required me to be proactive about jumping in. Now, I receive daily conversations and can quickly scan and get to know the other mompreneurs in the group, and jump in on a topic that excites me. I’ve never met any of these women in person, but I do feel like I’m part of something powerful and know that when I need support, there are many who will cover my back. I love this aspect of the group, and look forward to seeing the magic we all create as a unified team.”
-Lauri Harrison, President, Lauri Harrison PR, LLC

“I just had to write to express what a great group of women this is. I love the resources and support”!
-Jackie McKay, Owner, Deliberate Wellness

Networked Blogs App
Monday, November 01 2010 20:07
Instead of using the notes tab on your Facebook page to import your Wordpress blog, consider using the NetworkedBlogs App. People can subscribe right on FB, plus they have to click through to your blog to read the posts in full. Easy way to increase blog traffic! Thanks to Lisa Nelson, RD for this tip.

The way you dress says a lot about who you are. Balance your individual style with clothing that will appeal to those you are trying to impress. Be aware of colors and how they influence people.

Image Building Tip #5: Establish a network
Wednesday, September 29 2010 19:49
A great way to boost your image is through a network of opinion leaders, peers and other industry professionals. Keep them updated on news and events, and reach out to them at least once a quarter to say hello. This group also serves as a lead source, which will result in qualified referrals.

Image Building Tip #10: Place well-written articles online

Articles rich with keywords and placed with online article directories are a great way to spread your expertise virally. Article directories are a great source of information for bloggers and others looking for content for their posts. Learn more...>

Image Building Tip #8: Write a professional bio
Wednesday, September 29 2010 20:07
Your bio should outline your experience, credentials and anything else you feel is important. This is especially critical when trying to establish your personal brand. Use this bio on your blog, website and anywhere else your profile appears online.

Image Building Tip #6: Ego surf regularly
Wednesday, September 29 2010 19:56
Have you gone ego-surfing lately? Your online image is just as important as your printed image. Take time to Google your name. Hopefully all listings are positive references. If you find inaccurate or damaging information on a site, you have options for correcting it. Learn more...>

Image Building Tip #4: Publish an article
Wednesday, September 29 2010 19:46
Publishing articles is a great way to boost your credibility. Start locally by identifying publications that influence your target market. Most local publications welcome educational and informative content from professionals in the community. After publishing several articles locally, expand your horizons to regional and national publications.
